People can have multiple food sensitivities, physician says

People who believe they are gluten intolerant but do not get relief from a gluten-free diet may have other food sensitivities, too, writes holistic medicine expert Dr. Daniel Auer. He notes that food sensitivities can cause GI inflammation and damage. Once people discover which foods trigger symptoms, however, they can remove them or limit consumption to allow the body to heal. Auer writes that a combination of a food-elimination diet and antibody tests can help identify the source of symptoms.
